Wildborne Productions Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Wildborne Productions respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use personal information when you visit our website, contact us or enquire about our filmmaking and photography services.

Who we are

Wildborne Productions is operated by Will Hall, based in Nairn, Scotland. We are the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Email: williamroberthall@hotmail.co.uk
Business correspondence address: Assynt Gardens, Nairn

Information we collect

We may collect:

  • Your name, email address, organisation and any other contact details you provide.

  • Project briefs, preferred dates, locations, production requirements and messages.

  • Information entered into our quotation builder, including production days, mileage, optional extras and the resulting estimate.

  • Correspondence, quotations, contracts and invoicing details if you become a client.

  • Technical information associated with website visits and form submissions, such as IP address, browser information and security logs.

We generally receive enquiry information directly from you. Our website and form providers may collect technical information automatically.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information in the enquiry form or sharing someone else’s details unless you are authorised to do so.

Why we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, plan projects, provide agreed services, manage payments and records, and protect our website against spam or misuse.

Our lawful bases are:

  • Contract: where processing is necessary to take steps you request before entering a contract with you, or to fulfil that contract.

  • Legitimate interests: to manage business enquiries, communicate with people acting for client organisations, administer our business and maintain security. We consider your rights when relying on these interests.

  • Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to meet applicable legal requirements.

  • Consent: where required for optional cookies or any separately requested marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Our quotation builder

The quotation builder calculates an indicative estimate using your selections. Calculations take place in your browser. When you submit an enquiry, your entries and estimate are sent to us through our form provider.

The estimate is reviewed by a person before a final quotation is agreed. It does not create a booking or make an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects.

We need your name, email address and sufficient project information to respond meaningfully. Optional fields can be left blank.

Who receives your information

We share information only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Relevant providers include:

  • Squarespace, which hosts our website.

  • Formspree, which processes and delivers quotation form submissions.

  • Microsoft’s email services, which receive and store enquiries sent to our Hotmail address.

  • Professional advisers and relevant production collaborators where needed to administer or deliver an agreed project.

  • Authorities or other recipients where disclosure is required by law.

Their privacy information is available at Squarespace, Formspree and Microsoft.

International processing

Our service providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the reason it was collected.

For enquiries that do not become projects, we consider whether discussions remain active and whether information is needed for follow-up or to resolve a dispute. For completed projects, we consider ongoing delivery obligations, agreed client arrangements, legal claims and applicable accounting or tax requirements.

We periodically review records and delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed. These reviews include relevant email and form submission records.

Cookies and embedded videos

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies associated with its hosting and enabled features.

Where consent is legally required, optional technologies are used only after you agree. Browser controls also allow you to manage cookies.

Keeping information secure

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including limiting access to those who need it. No website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal information and obtain a copy.

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Request deletion or restrict how information is used.

  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

  • Receive certain information in a portable format.

  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

To make a request, email williamroberthall@hotmail.co.uk. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.

Questions and complaints

Please contact us if you have concerns about how we handle your information.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office:

Production participants

This website and enquiry policy does not replace any project-specific privacy information provided to people appearing in our photographs or films. Where relevant, we provide separate information explaining the intended use, sharing and retention of identifiable production material.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or information practices change. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date.
